What You’ll Experience
This one-week instructor training program prepares participants to confidently lead engaging cooking and nutrition classes in schools, community centers, and family programs. You’ll gain real, practical experience in setting up and managing a classroom, guiding hands-on cooking experiences, and understanding the balance between demonstration and participatory teaching. The program also focuses on food safety, kitchen organization, and how to connect with students of all ages in a way that feels engaging, supportive, and inspiring.
In addition, you’ll build confidence in your professional presentation, learn how to plan successful programs, and explore ways to bring cooking education into your community.
Participants will receive a Harvest Kitchen Instructor Training Binder, classroom templates, curriculum resources, and a Certification upon completion.
